Drive Safe Alliance SL (DSA SL) Provides Road Safety assistance during the Education Week Celebration In Bo City.
In a proactive move to ensure a secure environment for Pupils and high-profile guests present for the celebration of Education Week, Drive Safe Alliance Sierra Leone, Sierra Leone Police (SLP) and Sierra Leone Road Safety Corps took charge from Monday, 22nd January 2024 till the last day of the event, 26th January 2024.
As an auxiliary to road safety bodies in Bo District, Drive Safe Alliance an organisation which promotes and ensures road safety through sensitisation and pedestrian crossing assisted with coverage to safeguard the well-being of all Pupils and other attendees throughout the five-day event at the Bo School compound.
Hosted annually, Education Week in Sierra Leone is a celebration of learning, innovation, and community engagement. It serves as a platform for educators, policymakers, and stakeholders to converge, exchanging ideas and strategies to enhance the educational landscape of the nation.
Ensuring a balance between access and safety, stringent measures were applied to control the entry and exit of vehicles to and from the venue, to ensure the safety of all participants.
Entrances and exits were under control to manage the crowd efficiently and enforce the safety of all present.
