Road Safety Training
Empowering Volunteers for Safer Roads
In collaboration with The Sierra Leone Road Safety Authority (SLRSA) in Bo, our goal was to equip our volunteers with the knowledge of safely facilitating pedestrian and school children crossings. Additionally, we aimed to instil confidence in them to execute their tasks effectively, thereby enhancing road safety for all. This initiative underpinned our dedication to fostering road safety awareness and education within local communities, especially among vulnerable groups like pedestrians and school children.
Comprehensive Training for Community Development
The comprehensive training program organised by Drive Safe Alliance not only underscores our commitment to reducing road accidents but also signifies a holistic approach to community development. By equipping volunteers with the necessary knowledge and skills, the initiative not only enhances their safety but also empowers them to become advocates for road safety within their neighbourhoods.
Collaborative Efforts for Impactful Results
Collaborating with The Sierra Leone Road Safety Authority (SLRSA) Bo further amplifies the impact of the training, leveraging their expertise and resources to ensure the program's efficacy and sustainability. This partnership exemplifies the synergy between grassroots organizations and governmental bodies in addressing critical societal issues.
Practical Training for Safer Communities
Through hands-on exercises, interactive workshops, and practical demonstrations, volunteers received tailored instruction on pedestrian safety protocols and proper school crossing procedures.
